Collecting EEG and behavioural experimental data from visually impaired children aged 4-18 who have been treated for congenital cataract to observe visual learning and development after sight restoration surgery.

Conducting longitudinal experiments with children who are treated for congenital cataract to track visual functions (acuity, contrast sensitivity, orientation discrimination), visual cognition (object recognition, attention, motion tracking and visual memory) higher cognitive abilities (social attribution, biological motion and drawing) and neural correlates of facial recognition with EEG, by comparing performance before and after corrective surgery.

Completed a month long virtual internship with BBRFI centred around ‘Mental Health Advocacy’. I summarised research content into small bits of information for social media posts and moderated a live discussion held on Facebook between a practising psychotherapist and a guest speaker.
